Hello Families,
We've embarked on a new opportunity in HPAD and the students seem to be really enjoying themselves. Darragh O'Malley with Ares Pentathlon and Fencing Club came to Bowness for an introductory session and provided our students with all kinds of hand-eye coordination challenges. He also went through stance and technique for moving contrary to your opponent, much like a game of chess. Our first day at Repsol was a huge success and I was pleasantly surprised by their natural abilities once again for picking up a brand new sport! Of course they are always up for the challenge. These are truly talented athletes and humans, and we are only on day 2 of 5 with still lots to learn. I'll be attaching photos as a separate post. Hopefully you are enjoying the photos and videos!
